From 24 May, passengers will be able to access gates of the LRT Taipa Line directly with tapping Macau Passes. MLM hopes this measure will provide a more convenient and flexible travel experience to passengers.
Passenger holding a general Macau Pass are able to enjoy the equivalent discount to the general LRT Electronic Prepaid Card, while students, elderly and disabled holding a personalized Macau Pass can also enjoy concessionary discount to LRT. As fare concessions are currently available on the LRT Taipa Line, during the promotion period, holders of general LRT Electronic Prepaid Cards or Macau Passes are charged from MOP1.50 to MOP2.50 per journey, while student, elderly and disabled with Personalized Macau Passes or LRT Concessionary Tickets are exempted from paying fares.
