Notes to Passengers

 Guidelines should be followed within the operating areas of Macao LRT

In accordance with Article 8, 11 and 30 of “Law of LRT Transportation System”, conducting behaviors below in the LRT areas are prohibited and will be fined MOP 5,000 or MOP 10,000.
 
Throwing any objects into the operating section of the Macao LRT is prohibited.
Opening train doors, platform screen doors, entry gates of paid areas without permission, or disturbing the normalcy of operations of Macao LRT is prohibited.
Activating emergency or safety devices without cause is prohibited.
Carrying out any kind of advertising, distributing or displaying posters, pamphlets or other publications in the paid areas or Macao LRT without permission is prohibited.
Engaging in any gainful or profit-seeking activities in the paid areas or Macao LRT without permission is prohibited.
Fundraising, collecting signatures or conducting surveys in the paid areas or Macao LRT without permission is prohibited.
Entering the paid areas or Macao LRT with animals is prohibited, except guide dogs.
No person shall, prior to leaving the paid area, fail or refuse to pay any fare leviable.


Other notes include:
 
Children with the height less than 1 meter shall be accompanied by adults in using Macao LRT public transportation services
It's prohibited to damage any machinery or equipment or any part thereof within the operating areas of Macao LRT
Smoking is prohibited
No eating or drinking in the paid area
Do not make loud noise or cause nuisance to other passengers
No spitting
