The Macao LRT Student Electronic Prepaid Card open for application from 22 January

The application of Macao LRT Student Electronic Prepaid Card will be available from 22 January. Passengers can submit their applications at the customer service centre of each station. For the student who studies in an educational institution in Macao for one academic year or more, the original and the photocopy of the valid student ID shall be provided. For Macao resident who studies abroad for a period equivalent to one academic year or above, the original and the photocopy of the valid Macao resident ID and student ID shall be provided. For applicants under the age of 18, the photocopies of the resident ID of themselves and their parents (or legal representative) shall be provided, and the application form shall be filled in and signed by their parents (or legal representative).

The Student Electronic Prepaid Card holder can enjoy a 75% rebate on the LRT fares. The fares after discount are MOP1.50 (within 3 stations), MOP2.00 (4 to 6 stations), and MOP2.50 (7 to 10 stations).
