Summary of MLM's 2019 Annual Business Report

MLM was in business operation since 1 October 2019 and the Macao LRT Taipa Line commenced services on 10 December 2019. Up to 31 December 2019, a number of 6,544 train services were provided and the total passengers reached 662,000.

Since the Taipa Line had offered free ride for passengers during December 2019, MLM did not gain from the ticket revenue in same year. In addition, the operation of MLM and the operation and maintenance services of LRT Taipa Line are supported by the financial assistance of MSAR Government. Due to the initial stage of MLM and Taipa Line operation, there was some difference between the budget estimation of aforesaid financial assistance and the actual execution amount. As a result, MLM had recorded a remaining balance of approximately MOP 11 million in 2019.
