To accommodate parking needs during the Chinese New Year period, the Barra Public Transport Interchange Parking Lot (for light vehicles and motorcycles), under the MLM, will offer a special holiday promotion: free parking for the first half-hour. This promotion will be available from 8:00 PM on February 16, 2026 (Chinese New Year’s Eve) to 11:59 PM on February 19, 2026 (the third day of Chinese New Year), to celebrate the new year with the public.
During this period, vehicles can enjoy the first half-hour of parking free of charge. If the parking duration exceeds half an hour, charges will apply starting from the first half-hour. The parking fees are as follows: for light vehicles, MOP 3 per half-hour or less during the day and MOP 1.5 at night; for motorcycles, MOP 1 per half-hour or less during the day and MOP 0.5 at night. The parking lot accepts cash, Macau Pass cards, credit cards, contactless payment methods, and multiple QR code-based electronic payment options.
MLM will continue to monitor drivers’ parking needs and provide more convenient parking services to the public.
