Painting and Drawing Contest “Traveling Together on the LRT”

3.Contest Objective

The LRT, like a dynamic bond weaving through the city, is not only an indispensable part of Macau’s public transport system, but also a green driving force supporting citizen’s daily journeys. Flowing across the city, it keeps pace with its heartbeat, sketching beautiful scenes of shared growth and progress.

Under the theme “Traveling Together”, this contest warmly invites Macau’s primary and secondary school students, as well as the general public in general, to unleash their imagination through painting, contributing to a more vibrant and welcoming travel environment.

4. Contest Information

Target Participants	Local primary and secondary school students holding valid identification, as well as Macau residents aged 16 or above.
Categories	* Elementary Primary (Grades 1-3); * Complementary Primary (Grades 4-5); * Secondary (Grades 7-12); * Note: applicable to holders of a valid student card issued by the Education and Youth Development Bureau.
Submission Deadline	From May 5 to June 30, 2026

Requirements for the Works	Primary Education	Download the template and paint it; Allowed free creativity in the blank spaces; Works created by computer or through digital synthesis will not be accepted; A4 size (21 cm × 29.7 cm), paper type is free.	The choice of paint is free, but no three dimensional finishes will be accepted (such as stickers, gold powder, glitter, crepe paper, etc.).
Requirements for the Works	Secondary School and Public	The works must be hand drawn, and materials such as watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, or pastels may be used, provided they are resistant to fading; Works created by computer or through digital synthesis will not be accepted; A3 size (29.7 cm x 42 cm), paper type is free.

5.Prizes

In each category, there will be 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 8 third prizes, and merit awards.

1st Prize: certificate and MOP 1,200
2nd Prize: certificate and MOP 800
3rd Prize: certificate and MOP 500
Merit Award: souvenir.

6. Submission Methods

Participants may submit their works through any of the following methods (postal submissions will not be accepted):

Online Submission*:Register by June 30 on the website of Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited (click “registration” below), fill out the form, and upload the image of the work (maximum size 3 MB).

*After completing the online registration, carefully keep the original work for possible submission if selected.
In-Person Submission:Submit the work together with the registration form in a sealed envelope (do not fold the work) at the designated location and during the following hours:
