Ocean Station is located at the Avenida dos Jogos da Ásia Oriental, it is the only ground-level amount the stations of the Taipa Line and with an island platform design, to meet the needs of Taipa Line extension to the Barra Station through the lower deck of the Sai Van Bridge. The station's footbridge connects both the adjacent area and the Taipa Waterfront Recreation Area. This is not only eases the public in using the LRT, but also provides greater convenience in using the Recreation Area and enhances the quality of the residents living environment.
