Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited (MLM) is directly responsible for the operations and maintenance assistance services of the Macao Light Rapid Transit (Macao LRT) from 1 April 2024. Macao LRT will continue to act its role as a mass transit carrier in the future, keep providing passengers with convenient and high-quality LRT services as well as cooperate with the opening of other LRT routes in Macao.
Meanwhile, MLM has also continued to arrange the recruitment of staff in MTR Railway Operations (Macau) Company Limited (MTR (Macau)). Over 400 former MTR (Macau) staff have joined MLM since 1 April. The operations and maintenance assistance services (O&M Contract) of MTR(Macao) will end by December this year.
