The Macau LRT will boost services on the night of May 2, in coordination with Government arrangements, to meet passengers’ travel needs following a large-scale event near the East Asian Games Station.
In the two hours following the conclusion of the large-scale event on the night of May 2, the Macau LRT will offer free rides to passengers using the access channels of the East Asian Games Station and Cotai East Station, allowing travel to any station without payment. Additionally, the last departure time of all lines will be extended until 1:00 a.m. the following day, with reinforced service and increased train frequency according to actual passenger flow. Anticipating a high volume of people, the LRT urges passengers to pay attention to station announcements and signage, and to cooperate with the instructions of staff on duty.
To also meet travel needs during the Labour Day holiday (May 1), the last departure time of the Macau LRT on May 1, 3, 4, and 5 will be extended until 11:59 p.m. The LRT will reinforce services and increase train frequency according to passenger flow, urging passengers to pay attention to the announced arrangements.
