To enhance public understanding of Macau’s LRT system and promote green travel, Macao Light Rapid Transit Corporation, Limited (MLM), together with the Macau Artist Society, invites primary and secondary school students, as well as the general public, to submit artworks to a painting and drawing contest, from today and until June 30, depicting scenes of “Traveling Together on the LRT”.
The contest features four categories: elementary primary education (1st to 3rd grade), complementary primary education (4th to 6th grade), secondary education (7th to 12th grade), and the general public (Macau residents aged 16 and above). All participants must register individually. Regarding the specifications of the works, participants in the primary school categories must download an A4 coloring sheet, where they may also create their own design in the reserved space; while participants in the secondary school and general public categories must hand‑draw on an A3 sheet, developing their creation around the contest theme. The jury will evaluate the works based on criteria such as creativity and overall aesthetics. Selected entries will be awarded and may be publicly exhibited, with the results announced on the MLM website after evaluation.
Interested participants may submit their works either electronically or in person. Electronic submission is done through the MLM website, by completing the registration form and uploading the image of the work. For in‑person delivery, the work must be submitted together with the registration form during office hours at the reception of MLM, located at Avenida do Infante D.
